Yes. The slightly curved downward cuticle design ensures full sidewall coverage, improved adhesion, and reduced lifting or snagging.

12. What material are Aprés press-ons made from?
Patented soft gel, not ABS plastic.
13. Why is soft gel better than ABS plastic?
Soft gel flexes with the natural nail, resists cracking, provides better comfort, and adheres more securely than rigid ABS plastic.
14. Do the press-ons require a top coat?
No. Each press-on features a built-in UV protective coating, so no additional top gelcoat is needed.

15. Do I need to prep my nails before application?
Yes. Lightly buff the nail surface and cleanse with the included alcohol prep pad. Nails must be completely dry before application.
16. Do I need to etch or prep the underside of the press-ons?
No. Aprés press-ons have a slightly textured underside and do not require etching or filing.
17. What adhesive should I use?
For best results, use the included Extend Gel Non-Wipe (HEMA/TPO/TMPTA-Free).
18. Are Aprés press-ons compatible with other Aprés products?
Yes. They are fully compatible with all Aprés Extend Gels.
19. Are the products safe for sensitive nails?
Yes. The included Extend Gel Non-Wipe is HEMA-free, TPO-free, and TMPTA-free.
20. Can I add nail art or gel color on top?
Yes. Lightly buff the surface, cleanse with alcohol, apply your design, then seal with Top Gelcoat X and cure for 30 seconds.
21. Can I work out, cook, or shower while wearing them?
Yes. Once fully cured, they are suitable for everyday activities. Avoid prolonged soaking (hot baths or pools) to extend wear time.
22. My press-ons are popping off—what should I do?
Ensure nails are properly buffed, oil-free, and dry. Flash cure each nail for 5–10 seconds, then complete a full 30-second cure under an LED lamp.
Removal FAQ
23. How do I safely remove Aprés press-ons?
- Trim the length
- Soak in 100% acetone for 15–20 minutes
- Gently push off softened gel—do not force removal
