One of the most common causes is inadequate preparation of the natural nail. It's crucial to thoroughly buff away any shine and tidy up the cuticle area. For clients with excessively oily nail beds, we recommend applying a second coat of pH Bonder to effectively dehydrate the nail, promoting better adhesion.

Additionally, ensuring that the Gel-X® Tip is properly etched on the underside of the nail is essential for optimal adhesion with the Extend Gel. Improper sizing of the Gel-X® Tip is also a significant factor contributing to lifting. Using a tip that's too small can result in discomfort, pinching, and eventual lifting.
